Who uses it and why
In the 1-wearer sample no single class reaches the ten-wearer reporting line, so Black Claw Greaves reads as a thinly spread pick rather than a class staple. All recorded wearers are Dark. The item data lists no race lock, and the sample alone does not show why.
Region mix of wearers: NA West 100%. The sample uses an equal per-region quota, so this mix does not show the real regional player split. Sampled 2026-10-26, confidence Official-sample.
Top band vs rest
| Band | Characters | Wearers | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top band (ranks 1-50 per class) | 50 | 1 | |
| Rest (ranks 51-200 per class) | 150 | 0 |
Top-band and rest usage sit within five points of each other (2% vs 0%), so the sample shows no clear strength signal either way for Black Claw Greaves. Shares are taken among Spiritmaster characters only, the classes that wear it.

Enchant distribution
| Enchant level | Uses |
|---|---|
| +10 | 1 |
Across 1 sampled wearers the p25, median and p90 enchant are +10, +10 and +10. The single most common level is +10 (1 uses), and the p90 of +10 touches the official cap of +10, meaning the strongest wearers push it to the ceiling. Its median of +10 runs about 5.0 above the pants slot median of +5, so wearers spend extra on it.
How to get it and priority
The official data lists these sources: Reward Chest, Expedition, Sanctuary.
Our read on priority: Niche or situational. Signals in favour: the official data lists a named source.
Editorial. Black Claw Greaves scores 1 point. Score one point each for: top-five rank in its slot, a slot share of 30% or more, being tradable, a listed source, and a median enchant at half the cap or lower; top-two slot rank scores two, and when the top band wears it at least five points less than the rest we subtract one for being a stepping stone. Four or more points is high priority, two or three is worth picking up.
