Next maintenance
NC runs weekly maintenance on Tuesday at 23:30 PDT. The next one is expected Tue Oct 27, 23:30 PDT, which is Wed Oct 28, 07:30 CET and Wed Oct 28, 06:30 UTC. NC posts the exact time and length in a notice a few days before, and says the schedule can change at any time.
Daily and weekly resets are separate. See the reset timer for countdowns in your time zone.

Server Transfers Update
NC first put server transfers on hold until further notice while it investigated an issue, then updated the post to say transfers resume with Europe (03:00 PDT / 12:00 CET). NA East, NA West and South America continue with their next open transfer period as normal. The level requirement to transfer is now 45.
What this changes for your build: If you plan to move servers, check that your character is level 45 or higher before the next open window.

Daily Reset Issue (Oct 25)
NC says some players did not receive their Shugo keys and Nightmare tickets with the daily reset on the morning of Oct 25 (CET). NC is investigating and will share an update. No compensation or fix has been announced yet.

Account Restrictions | 23 Oct (PDT) / 24 Oct (CEST)
Another wave of restrictions for botting, gold farming, real-money trading and abnormal trading. NC says 12,586 accounts were restricted at 17:00 PDT on Oct 23 (02:00 CEST Oct 24). Normal long grinding sessions are not affected. Temporary security locks are a separate precaution, not a penalty.

Temporary Maintenance (EU) | Oct 24 PDT / Oct 25 CEST
A temporary 2.5 hour maintenance on Oct 24 at 17:30 PDT (Oct 25, 02:30 CEST) for the Europe time change from CEST to CET. Game servers are affected and login is unavailable; you are disconnected once it begins.

Ludra Awakens on November 4th
Sanctuary Raid: Ludra returns on Nov 4 with new mechanics. Normal mode opens at item level 2,800 and hard mode at 3,000. Launch events: a 14-day Ludra Conquest check-in (Nov 4 to Nov 17 PST), 2x Odyle Energy by in-game mail daily (Oct 28 to Nov 10 PST), Twitch Drops, a Ludra Hunt title race for the first 20 hard mode parties per region, an outfit contest and the Daeva Bootcamp dungeon milestones.
What this changes for your build: Ludra is back on the calendar: gear to the 2,800 (normal) or 3,000 (hard) item level before Nov 4. The extra Odyle Energy from Oct 28 helps with Expeditions and Transcendence Dungeons.

Patch Notes | Oct. 20 (PDT) / Oct. 21 (CEST)
Hard mode arrives for the Krao Cave and Draupnir expeditions (item level 2600 to enter, a 4 minute boss Frenzy timer and 3 revives per player), with new rewards and a new Ariel Daevanion Board fed by Ariel Fragments. Sorcerer Cold Storm and Fire Wall bug fixes, a Chanter Spinning Strike effect fix, a Kina step-up shop for Resurrection Spiritstones (Season 1), and Abyss capacity and boss HP changes.
What this changes for your build: Expedition (Hard) adds a new source of Daevanion points through the Ariel board, so it matters for Daevanion planning. Sorcerer: Cold Storm extra damage on Frostbite stacks and Frostbite level now work as intended, and Fire Wall no longer deals extra damage to targets without Embers. Chanter: Spinning Strike effects display correctly.

Steam Payment Issue Resolved
Some Steam purchases made between Oct 6 and Oct 12 were not delivered, or used up a purchase limit without completing. NC says it finished fixing all affected payments on Oct 14: missing items were delivered and purchase limits were restored.

Advance Notice of Server Transfer Limits
Each server has a cap on transfers in and out. Open slots refresh every hour on the hour, and a round can end early when a server hits its cap. A server that gets too many requests may close to transfers for good.
What this changes for your build: If you plan to move to a busy server, apply at the start of an open window.

Patch Notes | Oct. 13 (PDT) / Oct. 14 (CEST)
Sorcerer Fire Wall, Cold Storm and Bittercold Wind elevation fixes, a Spiritmaster summon fix, a 7-hour cap on stored Abyss entry time, shop changes for the transfer period, and the Halloween and Conquerors of the Abyss events. No class numbers changed.
What this changes for your build: Sorcerer damage and debuffs now work across height differences. Nothing else changes a class build.

Temporary Maintenance | Oct 8 PDT / Oct 9 CEST
A 1.5-hour temporary maintenance on all services. It stabilised servers and raised flight power on the four quest-reward wings. Everyone got a Special Daeva Supply chest, claimable for 7 days.
What this changes for your build: Daeva's Lesser Wings went from 2,000 to 2,500 flight power. The Intermediate, Superior and Ultimate wings went from 500 to 1,000.

A cloud outage hit 22 EU servers on Oct 8. NC marked it resolved the same day and promised compensation at the next maintenance.

The 8-hour maintenance that ended Advanced Access and began the commercial launch. It cut the character deletion wait from 168 to 24 hours, lowered the minimum deletable level to 1, and fixed several interface and quest issues.
What this changes for your build: NC said some boss stats were set too low for a five-player party and would be adjusted. Expect tougher dungeon bosses.

What changed in the latest Aion 2 patch?
The Oct 21 patch (Oct 20 PDT): Hard mode comes to the Krao Cave and Draupnir expeditions, with a new Ariel Daevanion Board. Sorcerer and Chanter got bug fixes only, so no class numbers changed. Our summary page lists every change and what it means for your build.
When is the Aion 2 weekly maintenance?
Tuesday at 23:30 PDT, which is Wednesday 06:30 UTC. That is 08:30 CEST until Europe leaves summer time on Oct 25, then 07:30 CET. The Oct 21 one was planned for 5.5 hours. NC says maintenance details can change at any time, so check the notice.
Did Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Cleric or Chanter change in October?
Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger and Cleric have no entries in the Oct 7, Oct 14 or Oct 21 notes. Chanter got only a Spinning Strike display fix on Oct 21. The other class entries are Sorcerer and Spiritmaster bug fixes.
Is Ludra in the game?
Not yet. Sanctuary Raid: Ludra was removed from the launch build, and NC's Oct 23 notice says it returns on Nov 4 with new mechanics. Normal mode needs item level 2,800 and hard mode 3,000. The Ludra Awakens guide on this site lists every launch event.
When do the Halloween events end?
Trick or Treat ends before the Nov 3 (PST) / Nov 4 (CET) maintenance. Halloween shop items stay on sale until the Nov 24 / Nov 25 maintenance.
