Who uses it and why
In the 2-wearer sample no single class reaches the ten-wearer reporting line, so Fantasy Pauldrons reads as a thinly spread pick rather than a class staple. All recorded wearers are Dark. The item data lists no race lock, and the sample alone does not show why.
Region mix of wearers: NA East 50%, Latin America 50%. The sample uses an equal per-region quota, so this mix does not show the real regional player split. Sampled 2026-10-26, confidence Official-sample.
Top band vs rest
| Band | Characters | Wearers | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Top band (ranks 1-50 per class) | 100 | 0 | |
| Rest (ranks 51-200 per class) | 300 | 2 |
The two bands nearly match (0% at the top, 0.7% below), within the five point band we treat as flat, so Fantasy Pauldrons is neither a finisher piece nor a hand-me-down in this sample. Shares are taken among Gladiator and Assassin characters only, the classes that wear it.

How to get it and priority
The official data lists these sources: Shugo Festival, Quest.
Our read on priority: Niche or situational. Signals in favour: the official data lists a named source.
Editorial. Fantasy Pauldrons scores 1 point. Score one point each for: top-five rank in its slot, a slot share of 30% or more, being tradable, a listed source, and a median enchant at half the cap or lower; top-two slot rank scores two, and when the top band wears it at least five points less than the rest we subtract one for being a stepping stone. Four or more points is high priority, two or three is worth picking up.
