Who uses it and why
In the 25-wearer sample no single class reaches the ten-wearer reporting line, so Spectral Pauldrons reads as a thinly spread pick rather than a class staple. Wearers lean Dark (75% Dark vs 25% Light), a bit wider than the even split the sampling quota would give. Class and band figures on this page count every version of the piece (ids 210430081 and 210430006), 25 wearers in all, of which 4 wear id 210430006.
Region mix of wearers: Asia 25%, Europe 25%, Latin America 25%, NA West 25%. The sample uses an equal per-region quota, so this mix does not show the real regional player split. Sampled 2026-10-26, confidence Official-sample.
Top band vs rest
| Band | Characters | Wearers | Share | Id 210430006 only |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Top band (ranks 1-50 per class) | 400 | 5 | 0 | |
| Rest (ranks 51-200 per class) | 1,200 | 20 | 4 |
The two bands nearly match (1.3% at the top, 1.7% below), within the five point band we treat as flat, so Spectral Pauldrons is neither a finisher piece nor a hand-me-down in this sample. Counting id 210430006 alone, 0 top-band and 4 lower-band characters wear it.

Enchant distribution
| Enchant level | Uses |
|---|---|
| +0 | 3 |
| +10 | 1 |
Across 4 sampled wearers the p25, median and p90 enchant are +0, +0 and +7. The single most common level is +0 (3 uses); even the p90 of +7 sits at half of the +15 cap or below, so wearers rarely invest deep into this piece. Its median of +0 runs about 5.0 under the shoulder slot median of +5, so wearers stop enchanting earlier than usual for the slot.
How to get it and priority
The official data lists these sources: Looted from monsters.
Our read on priority: Worth picking up. Signals in favour: the official data lists a named source; typical wearers stop at +0 of a +15 cap, so it works without deep investment.
Editorial. Spectral Pauldrons scores 2 points. Score one point each for: top-five rank in its slot, a slot share of 30% or more, being tradable, a listed source, and a median enchant at half the cap or lower; top-two slot rank scores two, and when the top band wears it at least five points less than the rest we subtract one for being a stepping stone. Four or more points is high priority, two or three is worth picking up.
