The Aion 2 Daevanion board gives you stat nodes and +1 skill levels on 5 main boards per class, plus the Ariel board added on 21 Oct. NC has published no official board table, so the numbers for the main five come from the Global client data and agreeing community sources. What NC has said about Ariel is labelled Official. We label each fact. Use the Daevanion planner to map your own path.
Daevanion board unlock levels
| Board | Opens at level |
|---|---|
| Nezekan | 12 |
| Zikel | 20 |
| Vaizel | 30 |
| Triniel | 40 |
| Azphel | 45 |
Observed Source MetaBot, Wikily, Fextralife and aion2.run agree. One guide lists Nezekan at level 13, but most say 12.
The system itself opens on a story quest: Visions in Smoke (Elyos) or Urgent Pursuit (Asmodian). Likely the quest opens the window and your level opens each board, but this is not confirmed in game. Client-data Source
- Each board is a 15x15 node grid that starts from a free centre node. You buy nodes that touch a node you own.
- Triniel is a 13x13 grid with six Unique corners (the others have four).
- Azphel fills the full grid with PvP stat nodes and has no skill nodes.
The Ariel board (added 21 Oct)
The 20 Oct (PDT) / 21 Oct (CEST) patch adds a new Ariel Daevanion Board. Ariel Daevanion Points come from Ariel Fragments that drop in Expedition (Hard) and are morphed through Substance Morph. Official 2026-10-21 Source
- Expedition (Hard) is open for Krao Cave and Draupnir and needs item level 2600. See the dungeons guide.
- Substance Morph > Special > Daevanion turns 100 Ariel Fragments into 1 Daevanion Crystal: Ariel (Bound), up to 30 times per character.
- NC limits how many you can get through Substance Morph for each dungeon, and the fragment you earn differs by dungeon.
- Spare fragments can go to Enhance Stones instead: 1 Ariel Fragment makes 5, with no limit.
NC has not published Ariel's node count, unlock level or what one crystal is worth in points, so the totals below still cover the five main boards only. Our planner covers those five as well.
Node types and costs
| Grade | Cost | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 point | Stat node |
| Rare | 2 points | Passive-skill node |
| Epic | 3 points | Active-skill node |
| Unique | 4 points | Corner node, headline stat +1.5% |
Client-data Source aion2.run and Fextralife list the same costs.
- Square nodes are stats. Common values: Critical Hit +5, Critical Hit Resist +5, Defense Bonus +30, Attack Bonus +3, HP +100, MP +50.
- Round nodes give +1 level to one named skill of your class, always exactly one level.
- Stat nodes are the same for all 8 classes. Only the skill nodes differ.
- On each PvE board every one of the 12 actives can get +1, so +4 across 4 boards. Each of the 10 passives gets +4 as well. Stigma skills never appear on boards. See the Stigma guide.
- Nezekan boosts the first five passives (learned at levels 1, 6, 9, 11, 13) with two nodes each. Zikel boosts the last five (levels 15, 17, 21, 23, 25) with two nodes each. Vaizel and Triniel boost all ten, one node each.
Daevanion points per board
| Board | Points to fill | Corner stats (Unique, +1.5% each) |
|---|---|---|
| Nezekan (Lv 12) | 134 | 2x Combat Speed, 2x Cooldown Reduction |
| Zikel (Lv 20) | 134 | 2x Damage Boost, 2x Damage Tolerance |
| Vaizel (Lv 30) | 134 | 2x Critical Damage Boost, 2x Critical Damage Tolerance |
| Triniel (Lv 40) | 168 | 3x Multi-hit Chance, 3x Multi-hit Resist |
| Azphel (Lv 45) | 232 (Azphel currency) | 4x PvP Damage Boost, 4x PvP Damage Tolerance |
Client-data Source 570 Daevanion points for the first four boards, 232 Azphel points, 802 overall. Each class has 532 nodes, 88 of them skill nodes. aion2.run gives the same board totals and calls them estimates until NC publishes a table.
- Full Nezekan: Combat Speed +3%, Cooldown Reduction +3%, HP +1,100, Defense Bonus +300.
- Full Zikel: Damage Boost +3%, Damage Tolerance +3%.
- Full Vaizel: Critical Damage Boost +3%, Critical Damage Tolerance +3%, Critical Hit +55.
- Full Triniel: Multi-hit Chance +4.5%, Multi-hit Resist +4.5%.
- Full Azphel: PvP Damage Boost +6%, PvP Damage Tolerance +6%, Status Effect Chance and Resist +8% each.
- Cheapest path to a Unique corner, path included: Nezekan 14 to 15 points, Zikel 15, Vaizel 15 to 16, Triniel 16 to 19. The closest skill nodes on Nezekan cost 4 from the centre.
How to get Daevanion points
Points arrive as Daevanion Crystals. Each Daevanion Crystal (Bound) says "Use to obtain 1 Daevanion Point". The crystal cap is 840.
| Source | Amount |
|---|---|
| Level-ups | 4 per level from level 12 (4 at L12, 8 at L13, 136 total at L45) |
| Sealed dungeons | 2 Daevanion Crystal (Bound) per clear, 61 per faction map |
| Regional quests | 1 crystal each, 58 per faction |
| Nightmare and Shugo Festival shops | Currency shops, no rates published |
| Daevanion Crystal Fragment (Bound) | Convert by Substance Morph |
| Opposing faction (level 45) | Sealed dungeons and garrisons via rifts, no rates |
Client-data Source See the leveling guide for the route. Use the rift timer for rifts.
By one count, levels (136), your own faction's sealed dungeons (122) and regional quests (58) add up to about 316 points against the 570 needed for the four PvE boards. This is an estimate with no in-game audit, so plan to spend points on skill nodes first.
Azphel uses its own currency, Daevanion Crystal: Azphel, capped at 232 (exactly one board). It is sold in the Abyss, arena and battlefield shops and in Monolith rewards. Fragment: Azphel's Trace converts by Substance Morph. Client-data Source
How to spend your points
- Take the skill nodes for your rotation skills first.
- Then path to the 4-point Unique corners that match your role.
- Do not spread points thinly across all boards. Finish one useful corner before starting another.
- Skip Azphel for PvE. It is PvP-only, has no skill nodes, and uses its own currency.
This is the common advice across several guides, not tested by us. Reset cost on Global is not published. Plan your path in the Daevanion planner before you spend. Daevanion transfers with your character in a server transfer.
Not confirmed yet
These points have no reliable Global source yet. Do not plan around them.
- Whether sealed dungeon crystals are first clear only or repeatable. MetaBot says 2 per clear, aion2.run says first clear.
- The Global Daevanion reset cost.
- The Ariel board's size, node types, unlock level and points to fill it. NC confirmed the board on 21 Oct but published no table.
- How many Ariel Daevanion Points one Daevanion Crystal: Ariel gives, and the per-dungeon Substance Morph limits.
- Whether the 30 morphs per character are one total or a separate limit for each dungeon.
- The real total of points you can earn by level 45. No in-game audit exists.
- Exact unlock behaviour: quest, level, or both.
- One guide says points come mainly from content, not level-ups. That conflicts with the Wikily level table, which shows 4 per level.
- Node breakdown by type differs between MetaBot (66 stat plus 22 skill per early board) and Fextralife (62 stat, 10 passive, 12 active, 4 specialty). The totals match.
- One datamine claims map "?" spots give no Daevanion Crystals on Global. Single source.
