Other Templar variants
Each Templar variant page follows one stigma that splits the class. The groups overlap, because a player runs four stigmas at once.
| Variant | Players | Median CP | In class top 50 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Noble Armor | 126 | 75,013 | 36 |
| Doom Shield | 125 | 74,033 | 31 |
| Taunt (this page) | 120 | 75,130 | 34 |
Other Templar stigmas with at least 20 players on each side of the split, without their own page: Battlefield Banner (113), Empyrean Lord's Punishment (84), Shield of Protection (78), Nezekan's Shield (46), Executing Blade (38).

What other sources say
MetaBot's 3 Oct reading has Taunt on 76% of its tracked top Templars. The two Neonsect readings put it at 70% / 60% of their top 30. Named as a pick by MetaBot, KeenGamer, Playhub; GamesFuze as a PvP pick. These are outside readings with their own samples, shown so you can compare.
Because of that label, Taunt is also listed on the Templar PvP build with the other PvP swaps.
Not confirmed yet
- The armory does not record whether a player mostly runs PvE or PvP, so this page cannot say which mode Taunt is for.
- Why players pick Taunt. The data shows who equips it, not their reasons.
- Whether Taunt changes your combat power. Any gap above may come from gear, levels or the kind of player who picks it.
Templar Taunt FAQ
